Airbase Caretaker – Volunteer
Help us keep our state-of-the-art airbase in top condition! Assist in the maintenance of our home in Urlay Nook.
Basics of the Role
Do you have extensive DIY skills, and a passion for our charity? If so, this volunteer role could be perfect for you! We’re looking for an Airbase Caretaker to be on hand for maintenance and basic repairs at our Airbase in Eaglescliffe.
We’re looking for an individual that can dedicate approximately 2-5 hours per week to helping around the base.
Applicants for this role must be aged 18 or over
Roles & Responsibilities
As a volunteer Airbase Caretaker, you’ll be hands-on, helping to maintain our airbase and keep it in top condition. Duties of the role include:
- Provide general maintenance services to our Headquarters in Urlay Nook, Eaglescliffe.
- Provide basic DIY duties, and have an understanding of maintenance checks and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for giving instructions to contractors and support crews.
- Problem-solving skills for addressing safety and maintenance concerns
