Emergency services called to overturned lorry on M6 in Cumbria


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the M6 southbound, between junctions 40 and 41 at around 3.05pm yesterday, after a HGV had left the road. The driver, a male, had sustained a leg injury and was assessed and treated by the GNAAS aircrew before being taken by road to hospital by North West Ambulance Service..
