Course Aims
The Enhanced Pre Hospital Resuscitation Course aims to build on and enhance the practice of pre-hospital resuscitation for adult patients.
The course will cover the pre-hospital approach to resuscitation, including, using the pit crew model and making the most of the available skill mix; looking beyond the Advanced Life Support (ALS) guidelines to tailor care to the patient; the role of ultrasound in cardiac arrest, and post ROSC management.
Is EPHR for me?
Prerequisites: you must be a doctor, paramedic or nurse with knowledge of the adult ALS guidelines, working in or with an interest in prehospital care.
This is a one day course, focusing on practical with short lecture sessions for key areas.
