Woman knocked over by a cow in Frosterley


Today at 12.15pm we were called to assist the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) in Frosterley, County Durham, where a woman, believed to be in her 70s, had been knocked over by a cow. The patient sustained a serious chest injury and was assessed and treated by the GNAAS paramedic and doctor team before being airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
