Woman ‘critical but stable’ after heart attack in Reeth


A woman in her fifties was flown from Reeth, North Yorkshire, this afternoon after suffering a heart attack. GNAAS was called to assist the Yorkshire Ambulance Service in the rescue, which happened around 1pm. When the charity’s crews arrived on scene, the road crews had already begun life-saving treatment on the local woman.  She was stablised before being flown to the specialist cardiac centre at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, where she arrived ten minutes later in a critical but stable condition.  .
