Woman airlifted from Carlisle after medical collapse


On Saturday March 17 at 4.15pm, we were called to assist North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) in Carlisle, where a woman, believed to be in her 60s, had a medical collapse. The patient was assessed and treated by NWAS paramedics and the GNAAS doctor-led trauma team before being taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle by a NWAS road crew. She arrived in a stable condition..
