Woman airlifted after being struck by vehicle in Morpeth


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist the North East Ambulance Service with a woman who had been struck by a vehicle near Morpeth today.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist the North East Ambulance Service with a woman who had been struck by a vehicle near Morpeth today.  

The woman, in her 40s, suffered pelvic injuries and was stabilised by the doctor and paramedic team before being flown to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.

The flight took 10 minutes and she arrived in a stable condition.
