Three-year-old child airlifted after stopping breathing


A THREE-YEAR-OLD girl has been airlifted to hospital after she stopped breathing. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the incident in Kendal on Monday at around 12.00pm. The doctor-led GNAAS team treated the girl on scene alongside paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.

The doctor-led GNAAS team treated the girl on scene alongside paramedics from North West Ambulance Service. She was then flown to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool and received treatment throughout the flight. She arrived in a stable condition.
