Teenager injured playing rugby in Penrith


Yesterday at 1.55pm we were called to assist North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Penrith where a teenage boy had been injured while playing rugby. The patient didn’t sustain any life-threatening injuries and was assessed and treated by the GNAAS paramedic and doctor team before being taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle by a NWAS road crew..
