Teenager hurt in A6 crash near Penrith


A teenager has been flown to hospital after a collision between a car and a van on the A6 between Eamont Bridge and Clifton. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 5:33pm on August 10. The 17-year-old car driver suffered a head injury and possible pelvis injury. He was treated by a GNAAS doctor and paramedic team before being flown to Newcastle’s RVI in 20 minutes.
