Serious two-car collision at Spennymoor


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a serious two-car collision at Spennymoor, County Durham, today. A 59-year-old woman sustained multiple injuries in the crash and was anaesthetised by the GNAAS trauma team, who then performed advanced surgical procedures and administered blood at the roadside. The woman was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough in nine minutes.
