Property firm donates £4,390 to “vital” GNAAS

Stanton Mortimer Property Consultants, which has offices in Northallerton, Newcastle and Swinton Estate, near Masham, chooses a charity every year to receive a donation. This year, staff chose GNAAS and duly sent a cheque to the charity.

Jamie Cameron, director at Stanton Mortimer, said: “We are delighted to have chosen as our charity this year the Great North Air Ambulance who provides such a vital and dedicated service to the people of the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria.  It is this service that saves countless lives each year that would otherwise have been sadly lost if taken to hospital by road, every minute counts”.

Michael Watson, client accountant at the firm, said: “Every year we allocate some money to charity and this year we chose GNAAS. It doesn’t get Government funding and has to pay VAT on its fuel, so we thought this sum might make a bit of a difference.”

Mandy Drake, deputy director of fundraising at GNAAS, said: “We would like to thank Stanton Mortimer for choosing us to receive this generous donation. Without support like this, we could not continue to offer the level of service that we do.”
