Mountain biker airlifted from Hamsterley Forest


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a hurt mountain biker at Hamsterley Forest in Bishop Auckland. The man, in his 30s, had sustained back and pelvis injuries after a crash and was taken by air to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough. The flight took around 13 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition. The incident happened on Saturday 29 April..
