Motorcyclist airlifted after Hartside Pass crash


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Hartside Pass, Cumbria, at 10.40am yesterday, where a motorcyclist had crashed into a road sign. The man, believed to be 30-years-old, was assessed for back and pelvis injuries before being taken to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary within 20 minutes. He arrived in a stable condition. .
