Motorcyclist airlifted after collision with car


A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after a collision with a car at Chollerford, Northumberland, yesterday (Apr 19). The 66-year-old man from Crawcrook, Tyne and Wear, had sustained serious back, chest and limb injuries after being thrown around twenty metres from his vehicle. He was treated by the GNAAS doctor and paramedic team, before being flown to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, where his condition was described as stable on arrival.  .
