Manfield fundraiser raises hundreds for air ambulance


A CHRISTMAS raffle at Manfield Village Hall has raised more than £650, which will be split between the hall and the Great North Air Ambulance Service. Harriet Langston, from the charity, visited the hall last week to accept the cheque.The raffle was held on December 4 and was well supported by local businesses. Prizes included a spa morning for two at the Garage Spa and afternoon tea for two at The Morritt, Greta Bridge. There was also a round of golf for two at Headlam Hall, voucher for Sam Turner’s garden centre and four Christmas hampers up for grabs. Members of the village hall committee have thanked those businesses who supported the raffle..
