At 2:00pm yesterday, the Great North Air Ambulance Service were called to Shildon, after a man in his sixties suffered a heart attack in the street. GNAAS doctor and paramedic worked with North East Ambulance Service in resuscitation of the man and used advanced techniques to stabilise him before flying the patient to James Cook University Hospital.
