Man suffers heart attack in County Durham


A MAN has been airlifted to hospital after suffering a heart attack in County Durham. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Newton Aycliffe at 8:59am today (January 25). The 58-year-old man was assessed and treated by the GNAAS aircrew before being flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough for further treatment.

The 58-year-old man was assessed and treated by the GNAAS aircrew before being flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough for further treatment. The flight took eight minutes and he arrived in a serious but stable condition.
