Man suffers cardiac arrest during Alnmouth Beach coast run


A MAN suffered a cardiac arrest while taking part in a coast run event on Alnmouth beach, Northumberland, on Sunday (July 24). The 30-year-old man was resuscitated by people at the event and the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 12:04pm. The GNAAS doctor and paramedic team assessed the patient before he was flown to the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington within 14 minutes, where he arrived in a stable condition..
