Man in cardiac arrest airlifted from Amble


Today at 9.25am we were called to assist the North East Ambulance Service in Amble, where a man, believed to be in his 70s, was in cardiac arrest. The GNAAS paramedic and doctor team treated the patient on scene before flying him to the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, for ongoing treatment.

The GNAAS paramedic and doctor team treated the patient on scene before flying him to the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, for ongoing treatment. The flight took eight minutes and he arrived in a critical condition.
