Man flown to hospital after fall in Consett


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Consett, County Durham, where a man had fallen at home. The patient, in his 40s, was assessed and treated by the GNAAS doctor-led aircrew for facial and back injuries before being flown to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary within eight minutes.
