Man airlifted from Keswick after suffering cardiac arrest


Today we were called at 11.55am after a man, believed to be in his 80s, collapsed in cardiac arrest in Keswick.

Today we were called at 11.55am after a man, believed to be in his 80s, collapsed in cardiac arrest in Keswick. We flew from our base at Langwathby, near Penrith, to assist North West Ambulance Service on scene. The patient was resuscitated and anaesthetised before being flown to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle. The flight took 10 minutes and he arrived in a critical condition.
