Man airlifted after rugby accident at Alnwick


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a rugby accident at Alnwick. The GNAAS trauma team was tasked to the scene at around 4.50pm on October 29. A man, believed to be in his 20s, had suffered a head injury and after assessment was flown to the Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary within 16 minutes, where he arrived in a stable condition..
