Man airlifted after road traffic collision on the A19


Today at 7.38am we were called to assist the North East Ambulance Service on the A19 near Crathorne, where a man, believed to be in his 60s, was seriously injured in a road traffic collision.  The patient was assessed and treated by the GNAAS paramedic and doctor team before being flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.

The patient was assessed and treated by the GNAAS paramedic and doctor team before being flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough. The flight took three minutes and he arrived in a critical condition.
