At 6.45pm yesterday we were called to a GP surgery in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, to assist a 63-year-old male who had suffered a heart attack. We treated the patient on scene before airlifting him to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle. The flight took 16 minutes.
