GNAAS called as boy is thrown from motorbike


The Pride of Cumbria was called yesterday, Sunday September 2nd, to assist with a patient who had been involved in a road traffic accident in Patterdale, Cumbria.


He was riding as pillion on a motorbike which had lost control on a bend resulting in him being thrown from the bike.

The patient was assessed by the crew before being transfered to an ambulance and then travelling to hospital by road.

His back injuries were not life-threatening and he was transported in a stable condition.
