Four people “lucky to escape” car crash at Stagshaw


Four people were “lucky to escape” a car crash at Stagshaw on Saturday (August 20). The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to incident, where a car had left the road, on the A68 at 4.30pm. After assessment, the GNAAS doctor-led trauma team found that two adults and two children had suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedic, Colin Clark, said: “They were lucky to escape the their car without more serious injury.” The patients were transported to hospital by North East Ambulance Service in a stable condition..
