Cyclist injured in A66 collision


A cyclist has been taken to hospital after he thrown from his bike following a collision with a car on the A66 near Braithwaite. The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to assist North West Ambulance Service at 3:30pm on October 6. After an assessment at the scene, the 55-year-old man was found to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was therefore taken to hospital by road.  .
