Cyclist collapses at Keswick


A cyclist collapsed after a cardiac arrest at Keswick. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) on Saturday, August 08, at 5pm. The 57-year-old man was treated by NWAS paramedics and Keswick Mountain Rescue Team before the arrival of the GNAAS aircraft.The patient was resuscitated and flown to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) on Saturday, August 08, at 5pm.

The 57-year-old man was treated by NWAS paramedics and Keswick Mountain Rescue Team before the arrival of the GNAAS aircraft.The patient was resuscitated and flown to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle. The flight took 12 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.
