Yesterday evening we helped North West Ambulance Service in murky conditions near Buttermere, Cumbria.
An adult male was reported to have been injured in a cycling incident and after treatment on scene, he was flown to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
The flight from scene to hospital took 24 minutes. That journey by road would have taken more than two hours.
As ever, this is only possible through your support as we are 100% charitably funded.
