Cumbria man airlifted to hospital after ladder fall


A Cumbrian man was airlifted to hospital after he fell from a ladder at his home in Egremont at around 8:30am yesterday morning (Apr 26). The 50-year-old man suffered a serious head injury and was treated by the Great North Air Ambulance Service’s doctor and paramedic team and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS). He was then flown to Royal Preston Hospital which took 25 minutes.
