Critically unwell Ripon pensioner flown to hospital


A Ripon pensioner was flown to hospital after she became critically unwell. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) flew to the scene on November 6, where a woman in her 70s was critically unwell due to a medical condition. Working alongside Yorkshire Ambulance Service, the GNAAS aircrew deployed advanced medical techniques to stabilise the patient before transporting her to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough. The flight took 12 minutes and the patient was stable upon arrival.  .
