Critically ill man airlifted to hospital


A man has been airlifted to hospital after he took seriously ill at Augill Castle, near Brough, at around 11am today (Feb 20). On arrival, the GNAAS aircrew assessed and treated the patient for a life-threatening medical condition before flying him to Royal Lancaster Infirmary for specialist treatment.

On arrival, the GNAAS aircrew assessed and treated the patient for a life-threatening medical condition before flying him to Royal Lancaster Infirmary for specialist treatment. The flight took 14 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.
