Community rallies round after burglary

After the shock of being burgled several weeks ago, we are humbled to report that the charity has been contacted by numerous local businesses and individuals offering to help.

After the shock of being burgled several weeks ago, we are humbled to report that the charity has been contacted by numerous local businesses and individuals offering to help. Many of the items stolen had been earmarked for raffle or auction at our forthcoming Air Angels Ball, and these kind people wanted to offer up a replacement so the ball could go ahead as planned. They have saved the day!

We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to the following for helping out:

*North East Cycle Works, Gateshead
*Saunders & Pughe, Corbridge
*Whittakers Jewellers, Yarm
*The Black Bull, Matfen
*Lucy Cooks Cookery School, Staveley, near Kendal
*Daisy First Aid
*Mammut UK, Macclesfield
*Northumbria Water
*Andrea James at Shoosmiths LLP
*Louise Evans, Ruth Dinsmore and Cromerty York

We would still warmly welcome any other offers of prizes. We also need the support of the public in attending the ball, which takes place on June 4th at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead. Tickets are £60, more information here.
