Boy, 3, airlifted after fall onto concrete in Preston


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Preston where a boy, believed to be 3-years-old, fell onto concrete at home. He was assessed and treated for head and leg injuries by the GNAAS trauma team, before being flown to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool within 20 minutes.

He was assessed and treated for head and leg injuries by the GNAAS trauma team, before being flown to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool within 20 minutes. He arrived in a stable condition.

The incident happened at around 12pm on Sunday.
