Grahame Pickering MBE, chief executive at GNAAS, said: “Jennings Motor Group have once more made our annual raffle possible and for that we are hugely grateful.

“We are looking forward to heading over to the Riverside on Sunday, where tickets will be available through our official sellers. Every ticket sold helps the charity, and each one has a chance of winning the car.”

Last year, Jennings Motor Group helped GNAAS raise more than £120,000 thanks to the company’s Stockton and Washington-based dealerships donating a brand new Rio model worth £10,345 as the raffle prize.  Kath Mewse, from Eston in Middlesbrough, was the lucky winner and took delivery of her new motor at Jennings Kia’s Stockton dealership in Teesside.

Fundraising throughout 2016 also involved staff across the company’s branch network in the North East and West Yorkshire taking part in various activities and events.

Jennings Motor Group’s managing director, Nas Khan, OBE, said; “We are absolutely delighted to be supporting both the charity and their annual raffle for another year and look forward to officially launching this year’s campaign with GNAAS staff at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday.

“Our history with Middlesbrough Football Club dates back nearly three decades and we are also very proud of our involvement and association as a Gold Partner.”

Since its launch in 2011, the GNAAS car raffle campaign has raised £807,000.  The annual event also brings significant exposure to the charity, with the brand new motor being on display at a range of outdoor events throughout the region, and tens of thousands of supporters being mailed tickets over the summer months.

GNAAS operates three helicopters, 365 days a year across its bases at Durham Tees Valley Airport and Langwathby, near Penrith, Cumbria.  Last year it flew to help 826 patients.

Car raffle tickets are £1 each and will be available here or by contacting 01325-487263.  The closing date for entries is November 7 2017 and the raffle will be drawn on December 1 2017.
