Airlift after three vehicle accident


At 2:35pm yesterday the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a three vehicle road traffic accident in Otterburn, Northumberland. A 23-year-old woman was treated by our doctor-led trauma team before being flown to Newcastle’s RVI. She sustained abdominal, pelvis and head injuries and arrived at hospital in a critical condition.
