Air ambulance called to man’s aid in Keswick


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Keswick at around 3.50pm yesterday, after a request for assistance from a BASICS doctor and North West Ambulance Service. The patient, a man in his 50s and from the Darlington area, was suffering from a medical condition.

The patient, a man in his 50s and from the Darlington area, was suffering from a medical condition. The doctor-led team put the man into an induced coma before he was flown to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary within 20 minutes. He arrived in a stable condition.
