Air ambulance called to cardiac arrest victim in North Tyneside


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist the North East Ambulance Service with a man in cardiac arrest. Air medics were sent to the scene in Longbenton, North Tyneside, at 10.55am yesterday. The man, in his 50s, was placed into an induced coma by the GNAAS team before being transported by road to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary, accompanied by air medics.
