Air ambulance called to car rollover at Cockermouth


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a single-vehicle road traffic collision near Cockermouth at 12.40pm on Sunday, where a car had rolled over. A trapped rear seat passenger was extricated by fire and rescue before the man, believed to be in his 30s, was assessed and treated by the GNAAS aircrew for serious arm injuries. He was then flown to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle in a stable condition.
