About us, the role and you

You’ll be helping to shape a programme of community fundraising that attracts supporters, old and new, across the North East.  This will include representing the charity at external public events, engaging with existing and potential supporters, alongside delivering talks and presentations to promote the charity within the communities you serve.

The ideal candidate will have previous fundraising, sales or business development experience.  You should also be familiar with Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and have excellent organisation and teamwork skills.

As this role involves significant business travel across the North East region in a charity vehicle, a current clean driving licence is essential.  Due to the nature of the role, you will also need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check, which the charity will pay for.

This role is perfect for someone who wants their skills to make a real difference.

Our range of employee rewards and benefits include:

  • A generous annual leave entitlement, starting at 23 days holiday in addition to bank holidays, increasing to 27 days with service
  • Flexible working schemes
  • Private healthcare schemes (upon completion of a 6-month probation period)
  • Access to a 24/7 counselling and advice service
  • Supportive training and development programmes
  • Organised staff social events

By joining the GNAAS family you will be part of a fantastic team all working together. All our roles require innovative thought processes and a willingness to learn new skills.
