Man suffering from hypothermia airlifted from Calf Crag, Lake District

Yesterday on September 7 at 4pm, we were called to assist the Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team on Calf Crag, Lake District.

Yesterday on September 7 at 4pm, we were called to assist the Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team on Calf Crag in the Lake District.

A male, believed to be in his 70s, was feeling unwell and suffering from hypothermia. The GNAAS doctor and paramedic team assessed and treated the patient before he was airlifted to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle. The flight took 18 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.
