We attended the following incidents in Cumbria over the weekend:

At 9.26am on Saturday, we were activated to Keswick to reports of a road traffic incident in which a male cyclist was injured. He was flown to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle. The flight took 15 minutes.

At 1.47pm we were called to Kirkby Stephen where a male motorcyclist was reported to have been injured in a collision with a car. The patient was treated on scene before being flown to hospital in Carlisle. The flight took 18 minutes.

With the Pride of Cumbria and her crew busy dealing with that incident, our team from the North-East was activated at 2.11pm after a male child was reported to have been injured in a motorcycling incident near Brampton.

After treatment on scene, working with North West Ambulance Service, the patient was flown to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. The flight took 15 minutes.

On Sunday, the team flew to Place Fell near Patterdale after an adult male was injured in a fall. He was flown to hospital in Carlisle for emergency treatment. The flight took 11 minutes.
