How we are regulated

As both a charity and a provider of healthcare, we are tightly regulated to ensure both our patients and donors get the service they deserve and expect.

From the healthcare perspective, we are answerable to the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which issues guidelines and carries out inspections to make sure we are performing to the highest standards.

For the Care Quality Commission's advice on complaints, please visit: www.cqc.org.uk/content/complain-about-service-or-provider

From the charity perspective, we are registered with the Fundraising Regulator, which was established to protect the public from unscrupulous fundraising practice. Of course, we have always set ourselves high standards in our fundraising operation, but nevertheless, it should come as reassurance to members of the public that we are commited to adhering to the Fundraising Regulator's Code of Practice, available by clicking here.

Those who register with the regulator agree to ensure their fundraising is legal, open, honest and respectful, as outlined in the Fundraising Promise, available by clicking here.
