Automated External Defibrillator

This course covers the theory behind defibrillation, the safe use of the equipment and troubleshooting problems followed by practical assessment of Basic Life Support and use of the equipment.

Basic Life Support

Sometimes called CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Theory and practical mouth to mouth resuscitation and external cardiac massage.

Moving and Handling

Principles and practice of safe moving and handling of both people and/or objects. An invaluable course for the reduction of risk of injury to patients and staff,

Special precautions, treatment and resuscitation using mechanical ventilators.

International Trauma Life Support

A popular Trauma Management System offering courses at both basic and advanced levels.

Basic is suitable for first responders with a valid first aid certificate.

The advanced course is for Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics and those with invasive skills.

Upon successful completion of the course, students are awarded an internationally recognised qualification and resignation with ITLS International in the USA.

On site Scenarios / Exercises

For those companies wishing to test their in place medical response systems. Tabletop and/or practical scenarios give first aiders much needed practice to help reduce skills fade.

Ambulance Technician Course for Industry

An in depth 4 week course for companies that have their own ambulance and/or medical rooms. The course reference material is the same as the NHS Ambulance Service taught by highly qualified experienced staff. The course covers all aspects of Ambulance work, Theory, Practical and equipment.
