Cumbrian man airlifted during heart scare

A man arrived in hospital in a stable condition after falling seriously unwell in the Lake District.
The man was flown from Watendlath, near Keswick, to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle after suffering serious chest pains.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service's Pride of Cumbria aircraft attended the scene. The GNAAS paramedic joined a North West Ambulance Service paramedic in treating the patient before he was flown to Carlisle.
The flight to the hospital took 15 minutes.
